Job Summary

The Director, Xfinity Home Product Management will report to the Executive Director, Connectivity and Emerging Services within the Consumer Internet Services organization. Xfinity Home is a key line of business that sells security services to over 1 million customers and brings significant financial, NPS, and churn benefits to the broader Xfinity portfolio. This senior position will be responsible for leading all product management activities for the Xfinity Home Pro Protection business, driving the success of our security products, ensuring a superior customer experience through active efforts to monitor and improve on their performance, and aligning the security product suite with broader company goals. This position will also be responsible for leading a team of specialists and managers to achieve product and team objectives and communicate key developments and issues to senior management. Additional responsibilities will include engagement with key cross-functional stakeholders (i.e., finance, compliance, field) and presenting business updates as needed.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


Establishes product strategy, roadmap, and policy for the Xfinity Home Pro Protection business.

Day-to-day oversight of existing products and services: vendor management, equipment management (new launches, sunsets, etc.), business analysis / KPI improvement, and growth opportunity evaluation.

Applies expertise in Home Security products and technologies and is relied on by top management to serve as a proxy for the market.

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine product go-to-market strategy and active product improvements through the utilization of strong analytical skills.

Support the defining of customer value propositions by synthesizing customer needs with internal capabilities.

Strategically evaluate current product portfolio and roadmap, assess new opportunities, evolve our product strategy, and guide both short and long-term business planning.

Analyze the ongoing or projected financial and customer impact of products within the larger scope of the company's revenue and cost targets.

Partner with stakeholder teams to understand consumer benefits from new product or service enhancements, and turn them into actionable products or marketing possibilities.

Collaborate with leadership in product development, business operations, marketing, sales, and across the company to achieve our mission and strategy.

Provides product support and documentation and develops of product materials.

Manages lifecycle of new products and services.

Demonstrates excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects on time, in line with budget expectations and to strategy.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Minimum Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Business or Equivalent; MBA preferred

Generally requires 10 years related experience

Extensive experience with the Xfinity Home product line and/or the broader Home Security space

Background in product management, operations, finance, or program management

Has superior management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and is capable of clearly communicating a long-term vision across the company and executive stakeholders

Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills and strong executive presence

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
