Description

Responsibilities

The Senior Solutions Architect works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. Translates business needs into technical systems solutions. Integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system. Recommends products that will evolve the organization's technical infrastructure. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Participates in all remaining phases of product development to verify that the design is installed, configured and documented correctly.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

70% Product Solution Design


Designing, describing, and managing the solution engineering in relation to specific business problems
Finding the best tech solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems
Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of software to project stakeholders
Defining features, phases, and solution requirements
Providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered
Create solution prototype
Analyze enterprise specifics needs
Ensure new products aligned to customer journey needs and business motivation model


30% Product Development Support


Identify opportunities for improvement by continually reviewing the performance of the product and scanning the ecosystem for benchmarking against similar products within or other industries
Partner with Operations, Infrastructure, Security, and Business development teams to manage the product life cycle needs
Other product development support

Required Qualifications


Minimum 6-8 years of information technology experience with a significant portion related to Architecture, Design and Development
3 or more years of experience in Software Architecture Design
Cloud Development and Product Development experience
Technical Business Analysis experience (Business Savvy Technologist, how the technology play a role in the business)
Ability to work well in an agile team development setting
Experience with Microsoft Office products and/or similar tools to include Azure DevOps
Strong oral and written communication skills
Established ability to successfully lead a cross-functional team and work well with other architects/leaders/teams
Passionate about understanding customer problems
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment; be nimble and adaptable, handle ambiguity
Demonstrated experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position
Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)


Work at Home/Remote Requirements


WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role
A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information


Preferred Qualifications


Knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle and Agile Development Methodologies
Experience working with outside vendors, managing those relationships and delivering tangible value
Prior experience in Product Management
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
Prior experience working in the healthcare industry
Experience in TRICARE or other federally regulated healthcare programs
