ROLE SUMMARY
The Director, Product Management & System Administration is responsible for conceptualizing and leading the design, development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.s technical infrastructure that support our user registration and learning delivery systems. They will establish and maintain productive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners and are responsible for managing all aspects of the work and cross-functional collaborations. The role is a combination of product management and system administration.
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is a virtual organization in which all employees work remotely with core business hours from 9am to 5pm local time; this employee can be based anywhere in the United States. Travel of up to 25% may be required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Product management: Event registration and Learning Management tools and systems
Act as the product owner and expert for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.s event registration and learning delivery systems
Evaluate and translate the priorities and needs of all stakeholders into system requirements
Design and lead the process to ensure that systems are configured and functioning to meet business requirements
Based on competing organizational priorities, organize and lead sprints using known and effective software and product development processes (e.g., SCRUM, Agile) and tools (e.g., Jira); establish and manage backlogs for assigned systems
Ensure optimized user experience and user interface in alignment with brand guidelines
Develop quality assurance plan and testing protocol for all releases
Travel onsite to ensure successful implementations
System Administration: Lead design, development and ongoing improvement of user registration, learning delivery and assessment systems
Define, manage and monitor processes for our registration system, individual events and event mobile/web app (currently AttendeeHub)
Develop training and support guides to train and support users with best-in-class service
Define, implement and manage registration support processes Act as Tier 2 support for help desk inquiries and automation to ensure a 24-hour response, routing of questions and escalating issues as needed
Train Tier 1 help desk team members as needed
Ensure systems operate efficiently by performing necessary upgrades and fixes
Improve data systems, quality, collection and processes; manage ongoing reporting needs and ad hoc requests
Communicate with system vendors as needed to resolve issues
Support integration of systems using APIs (application performing interface) LTIs (Learning Tools Interoperability) and other integration and automation tools (e.g Zapier) where applicable
Plan and implement a strategy in collaboration with our information security partner to maintain and monitor system security
Requirements
THE STRONGEST CANDIDATES WILL HAVE/BE:
Technical Skills and Experience
Experience configuring and building event registration systems such as, or similar to, CVENT, and event apps such as, or similar to, Attendee Hub, Crowd Compass, or OnArrival
Experience gathering requirements for, configuring, and rolling out complex cloud-based SAAS platforms (like Salesforce, Jira, HubSpot, Sharepoint, Tableau, or similar)
Experience with technical writing and documentation
Experience working in Agile teams
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to strategically think, plan and execute
Interpersonal and communication skills and experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of five (5) years of professional work experience in learning-related technology systems, with at least three (3) years of system administration experience with a cloud-based SAAS system
Demonstrated proficiency with event and learning management systems including data architecture and capture, course content production, management and administration, and reporting using data repositories and reporting tools
Demonstrated proficiency with project management and cross-functional project leadership
Knowledge of basic UX and UI concepts
Overall competence with programming languages, database design, and IT infrastructure

This is an exempt full-time position with an annual salary range of $103,000 - $155,000. A compensation offer is based on relevant years of experience in relation to the position.
