Description

The Associate Director, Product Management is accountable for Humana's Care Management technology portfolio, specifically for Salesforce Health Cloud. The Associate Director leads all phases of the technology product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the Business/Operations, by delivering products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes.

Responsibilities

The Associate Director, Product Management:


Monitors efficacy of products and uses business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs
Adjusts products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes (using agile/iterative development methodologies)
Partners with Business/Operations, Innovation Teams, Clinical Strategy Teams and Solution Engineering to create short and long-term strategies for Care Management products
Maintains portfolio roadmap, and ensures the most valuable product improvements are being prioritized for the product development teams
Oversees execution of product delivery teams; assists in risk identification, mitigation, barrier removal, escalations
Makes decisions related to complex technical and operational problems within department(s), utilization of resources, technology priorities, product delivery life cycle improvements
Leads a team of individual contributors and Leaders (Senior Product Owners, Senior Product Managers and/or Lead Product Managers); responsible for allocation of resources and team growth/development
Develops and executes Operational plans; ensuring that technology priorities are aligned with Business strategy, product delivery teams have a clear line of sight to strategy / priorities.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Technology related field

6 years of technology implementation experience

2 years of people leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agile delivery methodologies (SAFE)

Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud

Experience with technology delivery within healthcare
