The Principal Product Manager, Consumer IAM is responsible to lead the planning, design and implementation of enterprise-level consumer identity and access management (CIAM) capabilities within the Enterprise Information Protection organization. This high visibility role will be coordinate the activities of a multi-disciplinary CIAM product team, working with business and technology stakeholders to manage the definition and deployment of IAM capabilities and processes with a focus on consumer-facing portals and applications. The role requires a grasp of application security principles and practices and a background working in both IAM and cloud initiatives within a large enterprise. This is a strategic leadership and hands-on role, focused specifically on external authentication (B2B, B2C, B2B2C) for Humana's members and business partners. You will be a visionary looking for opportunities and innovative solutions in the Consumer IAM space. This leader will balance the competing interests of providing an excellent consumer experience with a seamless registration and login experience while maintaining the integrity and security of our consumers' health data.
Responsibilities
The Principal Product Manager, Consumer IAM is responsible to lead the planning, design and implementation of enterprise-level consumer identity and access management (CIAM) capabilities within the Enterprise Information Protection organization. This is a business capability focused position and will requires strong executive presence as this leader will be presenting regularly to Humana's senior leadership. This role will be coordinate the activities of a multi-disciplinary CIAM product team, working with business and technology stakeholders to manage the definition and deployment of IAM capabilities and processes with a focus on consumer-facing portals and applications. The role requires a grasp of application security principles and practices and a background working in both IAM and cloud initiatives within a large enterprise. This is a leadership and hands-on role, focused specifically on external authentication (B2B, B2C, B2B2C) for Humana's members and business partners. You will be a visionary looking for opportunities and innovative solutions in the Consumer IAM space.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading cyber-security product and platform implementation. The candidate should have excellent communications skills and be able to build strong relationships with senior leaders across the business. Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts including Consumer IAM approaches is a must. The candidate will manage the delivery of a portfolio of IAM products, including coordinating activities of multiple Product and Project Managers, and the overall CIAM product roadmap and priorities.
Responsibilities include participating in IAM program strategy, governance and execution, solution design and integrations, awareness, outreach, business management, and reporting on operational metrics. This position requires a seasoned leader with strong business acumen and a detailed working knowledge of IAM technologies, practices, policies, and their application at enterprise scale. The successful candidate is comfortable interacting with the most senior levels of IT, audit and cyber security program leadership, and with Humana's business leaders to help direct the IAM program as a business enabler.
Reporting Relationships:
You will have 2-3 direct reports, with team of 20 including associate and contract staff, and you will report to the Assistant Vice President of IAM.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience
10 years of technical cyber security experience
2 years of management experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
Deep understanding of agile development processes; lean startup mentality
Ability to deeply understand good and bad user experience and identify opportunities for improvement. Design for Delight mindset
Understanding of tracking intra product dependencies, system integrations, interfaces
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
Prior experience in the Identity & Access management (IAM) industry, ideally with focus in the Consumer IAM space
Experience implementing CIAM solutions within multi-cloud environment (e.g. MS Azure, AWS, GCP), as well as on-premise. Experience with ForgeRock platform a plus.
Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM
Experience with complex technical environments
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
