Responsibilities
The Product Manager is responsible for managing the implementation of products and services for Mitchells customers. This position guides and manages cross-functional teams internally and externally to deliver defined business requirements on time and with quality. The Product Manager plans, organizes, monitors and controls multiple projects at a time, coordinating customer, vendor and internal resource involvement through the life of the product, including:
Product Planning:
Prioritizes product updates including bug fixes and feature development
Triage product issues
Defines product feature requirements and expected system behavior
Communicate product availability through release notes and client communications
Works collaboratively with experience design and development teams to define user experience and system design.
Market Research and Product Launch:
Works closely with internal leadership to understand and prioritize features
Assist in the development of business cases
Works with training team to ensure understanding and adoption of new product features.
Joins regular client meetings to understand market needs.
Enables sales and marketing teams with materials to promote existing and new products.
Qualifications
CSG
Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Must have demonstrated excellent business judgment and strategic aptitude.
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with attention and focus on detail.
Must be a quick learner with superior verbal and written communication and presentations skills.
Experience conducting market research and identifying business development opportunities required.
The ability to interact and form trusting relationships with internal and external customers from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
Position may require up to 10% travel.
Preferred Candidates will possess the following skills/experience:
Agile software development methodologies.
Market research and identifying business development opportunities.
