Description

The Senior Product Manager Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Senior Product Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

Senior Product Manager

This role will represents the voice of the data science & analyst communities and their requirements for a trusted enterprise data repository. This role will create and maintain a mutli-year product roadmap for the creation (hydration) of data products and continued enhancements to available data in the repository. The person in this role will define the key performance indicators (KPRs) and objectives (OKRs) to measure hydration success. This role will partner with product owners, engineers, and architects to prioritize and drive implementation of product/data enhancements aligned to the overall product strategy. This role will be able to manage data as a product, using a combination of traditional product management with technical capability to drive customer-centric value.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
5 or more years of technical experience
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Possess a blend of business and technical savvy that includes a big-picture vision and the drive to make the vision a reality
Demonstrated ability to develop a strategic vision and bridge that with the tactical delivery & drive consensus accordingly
Experience synthesizing complex and/or abstract ideas into meaningful and strategically focused product plans
Ability to leverage data and formulate it to make decisions & drive actionable insights
Demonstrated ability to think creatively
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently through personal organization and commitment to deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of people
Healthy curiosity and continuous learning ambition
Ability to accept constructive feedback and adapt
Ability to present content and exchange ideas with senior leaders
Team player and strong collaborator both within the department, as well as Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance Office, and Platform Technical Support teams
Experience leading changes to processes, systems, organizational structure, work groups/ workflow or culture
Ability to manage budget to request funding, ensure delivery of expected value, and manage actual spend for platform development
Desire to work with a fun, ambitious, and committed team of quirky, smart people


Preferred Qualifications


Master's degree
5 years of digital strategy and/or product management experience delivering large complex programs
Experience with Azure DevOps / Azure Boards for managing delivery plans and high level backlogs
Experience managing strategy for hybrid cloud-based data & analytics products, including Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, etc.
Prior experience working from home or with remote team members
Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe) certification
Product Manager Certification (such as PCM)
Cloud Certifications, such as Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-01)
Internally: Working experience with the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Longitudinal Health Record (LHR), or similar internal data management/warehouse systems
