This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Product Manager with strong Product Marketing skills.
The primary responsibilities will be the implementation and execution of the commercial marketing strategy for all current commercial Life Science products and those in development.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the marketing champion for all new product development projects
Work closely with key customers and customer groups to define new product requirements
Represent the voice of the customer inside the organization
Develop and implement marketing programs to generate new sales leads
Gather competitive intelligence to maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape
Manage product line-specific outbound marketing activities, sales tools, collateral materials, scientific publications, trade exhibits, and web site content
Provide technical and sales training as needed
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in product management &/or marketing
Prior laboratory experience required, preferably with protein characterization technologies
Proven ability to succeed within a multi-functional team environment (e.g. engineering, sales, technical support)
Ability to plan effectively, set priorities, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Self-motivation and a positive attitude
Education:
BS degree in life science; advanced degrees welcome
