You will take part in reshaping the user experience of the site, with a mobile first approach, from ideas all the way through execution. Your contribution will reach over 70 million people who come to eHow every month to get practical solutions and advice for making their lives better and easier.
We are seeking a Product Manager who is a highly motivated, entrepreneurial team player with a passion for building great user experiences on the mobile web, desktop, and in apps.
Responsibilities:
Analyze business, marketplace and stakeholder trends; distill needs; translate needs into product requirements
Own a segment of the product roadmap – championing priorities grounded in sound reasoning and data
A/B test with a cross-functional optimization team to continually iterate on product features
Craft wireframes, coordinate with design, collaborate with engineering and QA to launch and iterate on features
Stay on top of market developments to understand competitive landscape and guide product development
Interface with key stakeholders (editorial, engineering, design, business) to understand business needs
Define key success measures for products and provide transparency of performance
Requirements:
Experience with concept development, wireframes, mock-ups, and product management delivery.
Experience measuring and articulating business impact and tradeoffs that inform product prioritization and strategy.
Mobile Apps is a huge plus.
Analytical and quantitative skills. You are comfortable gathering data and crafting analyses in Excel for the purpose of understanding product performance, informing feature prioritization, and defining product strategy.
Able to handle multiple simultaneous projects while effectively balancing scope, resources, time, and quality.
Familiarity with HTML for testing / QA.
4 years of related Internet work experience
Bachelor’s of Science Degree, Business Degree, or equivalent experience.
