Job Description
Looking to join a nimble team helping to lead the Medicare Advantage industry? Come join the Aetna Medicare Advantage Product Innovation and Strategy Team and help drive development of new benefits and programs to support our Medicare Advantage members and their individual and unique health care needs.
As a Lead Director, you have accountability for the strategic short and long term development of new supplemental benefits, including identifying gaps in the current benefit portfolio, opportunities to partner with other CVS businesses, and trends in the Medicare Advantage industry that align with Aetna's goals and objectives. In this position you be responsible for the what and the why of all new supplemental benefits and you will work closely with members across our individual, including SNPs, and employer group strategy teams as well as the vendor management team in order to drive membership growth and plan performance.
To be successful, the incumbent must maintain familiarity with all CMS regulatory requirements for benefit development, conduct market landscape analyses, engage with other thought leaders across the broader Medicare Advantage industry, lead consumer concept testing and act as the primary lead on all strategic aspects for assigned benefits and programs. Ideal candidates will have direct Medicare product experience, fluency with data analysis and business case development, and thrive in a fast paced and highly visible environment. This role will focus on new benefits in the virtual care and digital health space, how best to leverage technology to support our Medicare members, and bringing care into the home
This position is remote and can be worked in any state within the United States.
The position will report to the Executive Director, Strategy & Business Development.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 100,000
Maximum: 227,000
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.

Required Qualifications
• 10 years or more experience with Medicare Advantage plans required
• Experience with Medicare Advantage compliance and regulatory environment
• Experience launching new products and programs from inception
• Proven track record for project and program management skilled in a highly matrixed environment
• Experience as a thought leader with influencing power to engage a wide variety of partners
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 years hands-on Medicare Advantage product development experience
• Individual, including DSNP, and group Medicare Advantage products experience
• PMP or other Project Management certifications preferred
• Experience with virtual care and digital health
• Medicaid experience
Education
Bachelor's degree or 14 years of equivalent work experience
