This opportunity offers the right candidate a chance to shape important products in the FreeWheel portfolio and drive the future of the video advertising industry.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Own end-to-end ideation, design, and delivery of features and technologies used by FreeWheel's supply side clients.

Help set product strategy and direction for supply side products at FreeWheel.

Identify new product opportunities from industry trends and challenges and perform market analysis to inform product decisions and roadmap.

Holistically understand core business problems and requirements from clients, prospects, sales and support, in order to invent efficient and useful solutions.

Using agile methodologies, oversee the engineering team's product development efforts, ensuring the final product is functional, operational, and meets design and feature specifications.

Partner with various functions including product management, user experience, sales, marketing, advisory services, and client solutions to successfully position products and features for successful client use.

Use limited resources effectively, by building business cases for new products and features and prioritizing needs based on team objectives; clearly highlight business use cases and vet assumptions prior to further investment.

Define and consistently measure quantifiable success metrics of owned products with each feature.

Maintain a general awareness and understanding of the advertising/media operations and television/content-providers landscape, including vendors, partners, and new technologies.

Potential for up to 15% time for travel (domestic and international).

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About You:

5-7 years of Product Management or equivalent experience with successful history of delivering customer-oriented, complex solutions in a fast-moving environment, ideally in the digital advertising space.

Computer science, math, or engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent; MBA or equivalent graduate degree strongly preferred.

Experience across the product management lifecycle for enterprise products or services.

Proven ability to quickly learn, understand, and expand complex products, processes, and concepts.

Superior communication skills for addressing colleagues and customers; the ability to present complicated concepts in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience understanding and evaluating client requests, translating requests into detailed designs, and guiding engineering through implementation.

Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the industry, development processes, and business priorities.

Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Passionate about what you do, and excited about the opportunity!

Employees at all levels are expected to:

Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.

Own the customer experience - think and act in ways that put our customers first, give them seamless digital options at every touchpoint, and make them promoters of our products and services.

Win as a team - make big things happen by working together and being open to new ideas.

Be an active part of the Net Promoter System - a way of working that brings more employee and customer feedback into the company - by joining huddles, making call backs and helping us elevate opportunities to do better for our customers.

Drive results and growth.

Respect and promote inclusion & diversity.

Do what's right for each other, our customers, investors and our communities.
