Description
The Lead Product Manager Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
Location: work at home anywhere
The Strategy & Product Development Lead in the pharmacy space defines, evaluates and develops new products, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions, and translate research into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Develops design briefs for new product ideas, including specifications, sketches and/or models to present a clear, focused concept for strategic consideration. Accountable for the full end-to-end experience for consumers and stakeholders including product lifecycle management, strategic product planning, pricing, roadmap development and execution of an integrated clinical product portfolio specific to cohort(s)
Owns the end to end strategy, design and execution of innovation solutions rooted in solving complex problems resulting in iterative test & learns
Defines stage-gate criteria and makes decisions throughout product development process
Requires independent judgement and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives, approaches and leading cross-functional teams, which will include nurses, pharmacists and regional medical directors, etc.
Influences product strategy and roadmap rooted in consumer insights and analysis of market findings
Makes executive level recommendations in regards to investments, development life cycle and personas prioritization
Accountable for analysis, development and evaluation of new product ideas, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions and translates research discoveries into concepts to test
Leads across the enterprise (i.e. operations, external partners, markets) to drive the development of a new multi-disciplinary care team product, transforming how Humana delivers clinical services to our members and providers
Accountable for managing investment and partner relationships in development phase
Organize results, derive actionable insights and communicate with stakeholders and executive level leadership
Role Essentials
Bachelor's degree in any field
7 or more years product management experience and/or ownership of business growth objectives.
Minimum of 2 years of health care experience
Ability to drive significant transformation
Solid track record managing integrated experiences or clinical products that achieved clinical and financial outcomes
Competence working on very large and most complex assignments.
Strong ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment in the midst of ambiguity
Ability to adapt quickly and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably and effectively communicate with a variety of business leaders
Both quantitative and qualitative analysis experience, with the ability to drive to trend identification and actionable insights
Role Desirables
Pharmacy Benefit Management experience
Pharmacy and/or Specialty Pharmacy experience
