Job Summary

Join Comcast's Global Technology Organization with this opportunity to lead a new organization defining and implementing the next generation of Self-Service Experiences for Comcast's customers. Bring your best ideas to define the next generation of customer service experiences leveraging generative AI. The Vice President for AI Experiences offers a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on customer experiences. As the leader for the organization, you will be expected to shape product strategy while aligning technical solutions to the long-range business plan. You will lead a team of product managers and technologists responsible for full lifecycle product delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, with a proven ability to define product roadmaps, lead engineering teams, and measure product effectiveness, while working in collaboration with external stakeholders. You will also use strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence strategy with stakeholders across Comcast Cable.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and executive oversight for the team.

Lead the delivery and operations for a portfolio of AI assisted tools across chat bots, agent assisted chat, and predictive recommendation engines.

Develop 3-year product vision and strategy with measurable incremental milestones.

Work closely with customers and partners to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into product development.

Ongoing engagement with the broader AI market to support research and analysis of external trends the impact on our internal strategic plan.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, design, and assisted and unassisted journeys, to ensure successful product development and delivery.

Regularly communicate product updates, strategy, and vision to stakeholders to ensure alignment across the organization.

Build, lead, and professionally develop a high performing team.

Encourage and track employee development and engagement.

Manage external labor contracts.

Drive best practices and continuous improvement efforts.

Lead Software Development and Engineering teams in the development of new experiences while continuing to support existing applications and applications in development.

Oversee implementation initiatives, software updates and the roll-out of new software releases.

Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

10 years of experience in product management, with a track record of delivering innovative and successful products and solutions.

5 years of experience leading full lifecycle software development.

Deep understanding of AI and its application in customer experiences. Experience defining AI products is preferred.

Strategic thinker with ability to balance short-term goals with long-term vision.

Ability to define Product Strategy and Roadmaps.

Deep understanding of Agile and Lean product development practices.

Demonstrated experience interacting with senior executives.

Ability to synthesize multiple inputs into a compelling strategic / actionable plan.

Strong presentation skills and ability to craft a strategic narrative.

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration.

Demonstrated success in leading and developing high performing teams.
