Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager or Director of Product Management with expertise in the video (preferred) or martech ecosystem to help drive the development of video applications for enterprises (with a focus on digital marketers). The Brightcove platform is used by digital marketers to publish engaging video experiences that delight their viewers and drive value for their businesses. Based on your understanding of the online video platform or the martech ecosystem, you will lead a team to define the roadmap for applications for digital marketing customers. These applications must be easy to use, deliver a best-in-class viewer experience, and create clear customer value.
Job Responsibilities
Drive the team and the vision and business case for key video marketing applications
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to identify requirements, analyze market opportunities and set product vision
Manage UX design and beta programs to gather customer feedback and ensure successful releases
Prepare the cross-functional organization to market, sell, deliver, and support these application products
Manage product requirements, technical dependencies, engineering backlog, and product roadmap to execute on the product vision
Work closely with strategic partners to facilitate integrations and joint solutions that will enhance the value of the applications in the market
Qualifications/Experience
10 years in the online video platform or digital marketing ecosystem and how users might want to use video for marketing campaigns
Experience leading a team of 5 employees - coaching and mentoring them to define a customer value proposition and driving a business case for a product investment
Ability to apply UX design thinking to develop differentiated product designs and validate these designs with customer visits
Experience combining strategic thinking with detail-oriented execution in a way that gets things done in a fast-paced, globally distributed organization
Experience inspiring confidence with communication style and product demos
Experience demonstrating the ability to take a position and use facts to defend it, while having the flexibility to accept feedback and change course when better ideas present themselves
