The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional performs analysis of Regulatory Compliance business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or related experience

5 years of consulting experience/successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects

Understanding of Agile methodologies/product management experience

Strong organizational and implementation skills

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong demonstrated ability to work independently, yet coordinate and facilitate with other teams both inside and outside the department.

Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Insurance industry specific Regulatory Compliance knowledge/experience

Product Owner/Management experience

Experience in technical writing

Experience in governance, risk and compliance tools and processes

Knowledge of and experience using GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) systems

Knowledge and understanding of the SDLC process

Due to COVID-19, candidate will work from home until Humana offices reopen.
