The Digital Health and Innovation organization is seeking a talented leader with deep digital and cloud engineering experience for the position of Director, Full Stack Engineering. This is a key leadership role in the Digital Health and Innovation Engineering organization and is responsible for leading and developing a team of approximately 75 talented architects and engineers. This team designs, develops and maintains cloud based (Azure) platforms that enable our experience delivery teams to create exceptional digital experiences for our members and consumers at a speed of 40%- 50% faster than in the past.
Responsibilities
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing and executing an effective 12-24 month technology strategy and roadmap that allows us to meet the demands our product management, experience engineers, and line of business partners
Developing trusting and collaborative relationships with our Enterprise Architecture, product management and line of business leaders to ensure that technology implementations align with enterprise technical standards and business goals
Making decisions typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes
Implementing strategic plans, driving goals and objectives, and improving performance
Leading the organization through change as we continue to modernize our software delivery processes to adapt continuous integration and deliver cloud native solutions
Ability to effectively communicate and present to senior leaders
Effective cost management and budget management including cloud cost optimization
Embracing and enabling a dev-ops culture to achieve operational excellence and desired outcomes
Leading talent management and culture efforts, associate training, development, and engagement
Encouraging innovation, evaluation, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
Providing input into function's strategy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3 or more years of Digital Transformation leadership
10 or more years of technical experience in system and software engineering including 8 or more years of technical experience in leading development of large-scale enterprise software systems (to include strategic planning, resource planning, operations management, and budgeting)
In-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment
Experience building and leading an Agile software engineering organization that enables rapid development and delivery of next-generation digital products
Solid understanding of the SDLC, Cloud migration (preferably MS Azure) and DEVOPS
Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies
Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, identify process improvements, and foster quality in others
Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications

Additional Information
Location - Remote anywhere across the US
Requires travel as business needs dictate, expected to be less than once per month
Work-At-Home Requirements, if applicable: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense. A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required. Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
