Description
The lead product manager will play a critical role in the evolution of the Humana's Wellness Solutions offering and, more broadly, in helping Humana deliver on its well-being centered mission. Will manage a suite of competitive wellness services offered to our Medicaid members and will lead the creation and commercialization of new, innovative products.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Discover, develop, evaluates new product concepts, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions
Conduct market research and extract insights to inform innovation pipeline
Develops design briefs for new product ideas, including specifications, business models to present a clear, focused concept for strategic consideration.
Accountable for the full end-to-end product lifecycle including strategic product planning, pricing, roadmap and execution
Define the core metrics that will inform the success of the product(s)
Once products are launched, monitor efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes
Partner closely with operations, vendors, customer success teams and/or enterprise teams, to drive the development and product lifecycle
Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision
Performs analysis of variable factors necessary to determine the best course of action
Required Qualifications
4 years' experience in product management/development
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or related
2 years of health care experience, Medicaid a plus
Ability to drive significant transformation
Solid track record managing products that achieved clinical and financial outcomes
Competence working on very large and complex assignments.
Strong ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment in the midst of ambiguity
Ability to adapt quickly and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably and effectively communicate with a variety of business leaders from operators, to physicians, to management
Both quantitative and qualitative analysis experience, with the ability to drive to trend identification and actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in digital health products
Experience in Agile Methodologies of product development ( certifications a plus)
Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills
